I drew this when I was sick and feeling pretty low, thus her expression. I don't know how or why she ended up Athena (the goddess Athena, that is), but she did. She might not look much like the 'traditional' image of her, but seeing as this is my personal interpretation that was more or less intentional. Drawing the border was a pain, I tell you. Even though I only really drew one side, the second one is a reflection of the first. Working with digital mediums is fun that way, it makes some things so much easier!

This picture was drawn in an oekaki board using the PaintBBS applet. If I recall correctly, it took me a little less than three hours. Completed in December 2005.

You may NOT take this picture, in part or whole, and use it anywhere without my permission, regardless of the purpose(s) and the reason(s). Duplication in any form is also strictly forbidden.

It's a cool pic 2 Some of your pictures - like this - remind me of the animation film Prince of Egypt. Have you ever seen that? (I love it 2)

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom replies: "I have seen that movie (and love it, too)! It's interesting that you can see traces of it in my art, but I suppose it makes sense. After all, the human brain works in mysterious ways. Thank you for your comment! "

this is really good. you did a great job on the profile. I always seem to have trouble doing those... *mutters* blastet things...*mutters* and I really like the colour scheme. it gives the picture a warm sence, eventhough she is feeling blue... ok, I just had to say that^^ over-all impression: very good^^

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom replies: "I've practiced profiles a lot. xD If you look through my sketch files, they're probably heavily overrepresented compared to other random posings of the head. o_O Instead, I had problems with drawing heads from the front for the longest of time.... Hm. xD I guess people are just different. And I liked what you said about the contrast between warm colours and cool feelings.. I hadn't really thought of it that way before, but now I may just use the concept again some time. 12 Thank you!"

:-) Vilhelmina Ullemar Lönnbom replies: "Glad to see you decided to leave a comment on the way! You should give shading a try, though, as it can do a lot for your drawings. ^^ I like the border as well, and it took so much time... xD; I'll be over to see yours later. ^^"
